Did you find ton’s of sea shells at the seashore this past summer? Wondering how to display all your beautiful Shells? Wonder no more! Display all the beauties in a glass vase with a candle in the center for a beautiful Center Piece!
Not only is my thumb getting greener, I am cutting back on my carbon footprint, plus saving money and gas! Just a few steps outside my sliding glass door is my little organic garden where I can pick some local produce! There are tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano, rosemary, carrots, parsley, hot peppers and green peppers. Planted within the garden is rosemary to ward off many harmful insects and flowers to attract pollinators such as bees! Also there is a small area for composting which attracts ton’s of worms! Coffee grounds added to the garden helps to ward off slugs. Did I mention all these items are easy to grow? So, if you have a small out-door space like me, you too, can grow a little patio garden with just a little patience and some time!

Here is another great pasta dish that was passed on to me by my loving mother, Julia. This dish is infused with garlic, fresh basil , olive oil and mixed with black olives than topped with fresh parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Have a Tomato salad on the side and you have a light and refreshing summer dish.
