Homemade Hummus

All you need is a can of Garbanzo Beans, garlic, tahini sauce, and lemon juice.

  • 3 cloves chopped garlic

  • 2 tsp. olive oil

  • 1 can of garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained

  • 4 tsp  tahini

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup of water

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

  • In a food processor add garbanzo beans, garlic, tahini, salt, water, and lemon juice

  • Puree until smooth and creamy.

  • Transfer to a bowl and top with a sprig of  parsley

  • Serve  with pita bread, veggies or tortilla chips.

  • Can be refregerated for up to three days.  Enjoy!

Baked French Fries

I call these skinny fries because they are baked not fried. So easy to make and they taste so good. They will be a hit with the whole family.

Slice one or two baking potatoes.

Line them  up on a cookie sheet.

Sprinkle them olive oil, salt and pepper.

Bake at 450 until golden brown.

Flip the fries with a spatula.

Bake the other side until golden.

Serve hot with your favorite condiments.
